A band equal parts punk, alternative, and country that emerged from bars and clubs in North Carolina.

Adams emerged as the reluctant leader of the group due to his prolific songwriting ability.

In 1997, opened for classic rock icon John Fogerty, but met with an icy reception from the audience. The band responded in a characteristically confrontational manner, which was due in part to Adams' tremendous stage fright.
