Wonder how The Calling got their name? Lead Singer Alex Band has said that he was having a conversation with lead guitarist Aaron Kamin about music in general while trying to find band names. Aaron has said it was their "calling" to make music.
The Calling were signed in 1998 by RCA and were featured playing their hit song "Wherever You Will Go" in the 2000 movie Coyote Ugly.
Mohler and Wood left the group in 2003 after suing Kamin and Band over royalties from the album Camino Palmero.
