Grindcore

Grindcore is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal and hardcore punk that originated in the early 1980s. It is characterized by fast tempos, heavily distorted guitars, blast beats, and vocals that range from shouted to screamed. Grindcore lyrics often focus on political and social issues, and the lyrics are often confrontational and aggressive. Grindcore is often associated with other extreme metal genres such as death metal and black metal.
