Co-written by Clark with lead guitarist Lenny Davidson at the height of their popularity, this song also became a film title, a vehicle for the band in much the same way as was A Hard Day's Night for The Beatles the previous year. It may indeed have been difficult to catch Clark and his group at that time because immediately after the film was released they were off to the States via Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. The B-side to the US release, the instrumental "On The Move," was equally thematic.
The finger snaps and "here we come" line in this song provided inspiration for the "(Theme From) The Monkees," which was written later in 1965 for the show's pilot episode.
Nike used this in a UK commercial for their shoes.
