This was Starship's fourth Top 10 hit in less than two years. It was released 20 years after the "Summer of Love," when the band was known as Jefferson Airplane and had a huge following among Hippies, especially in the San Francisco area. As the group evolved into Starship and then Jefferson Starship, their songs became more polished and radio-friendly. Instead of drugs, war and revolution as inspiration, they recorded lots of catchy love songs.
For a while, Major League Baseball used this as its theme song.
