Ssega also wrote the song's lyrics. Cellist Grace Chatto told HMV.com that the singer has "a very distinctive style." She added, explaining why they let their guest vocals pen the lyrics: "It would have been hard to replicate that and imagine him singing lyrics he didn't write."
