There is an old joke about a young guy who pulls a gorgeous blonde, takes her back to his place, and after they retreat to the bedroom she removes her wig, her false breasts, her glass eye, her prosthetic foot... at which point he shouts in exasperation: "When you get to the part I want, just throw it over." It remains to be seen if the Scorpions have heard this joke, but this is their version set to music following a chance encounter with a superficially attractive young woman who ridicules the narrator's libido. All good clean fun; even Mary Whitehouse couldn't have taken offense to this.
"Don't Make No Promises (Your Body Can't Keep)" which is the second track on the 1980 Animal Magnetism album has music by lead guitarist Matthias Jabs and lyrics by drummer Herman Rarebell.
