Fly Let it fly Let it fly like the birds in the sky Both artists have links with birds, hence the flying symbolism. Travis Scott's second album was titled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight as he felt trapped into having to release commercial music rather the more creative work he prefers. Tha Carter V meanwhile was delayed due to a personal situation between Lil Wayne and Cash Money label head Birdman. Wayne sued Birdman for $51 million in order to be released from his contract. He starts his verse: It's alive, it's alive, I'm revived, it's C5 Been arrived, kiss the sky, did the time Wayne is now free to spread his wings and bless his fans with his long awaited Tha Carter V album.
This was the second collaboration between Lil Wayne and Travis Scott. They both previously jumped on DJ Khaled's "Tourist" in 2016.
