Victorious is a Nickelodeon sitcom revolving around aspiring singer Tori Vega, portrayed by Victoria Justice, who attends a performing arts high school called Hollywood Arts. Victoria wrote this autobiographical song herself and it ended up on the show. She told Artist Direct: It's basically about my journey from Hollywood, Florida where I grew up to Hollywood, California where I ended up. It's about following your dreams, working hard, having a passion and a vision, and really going for it. If you work hard, anything is possible. The sky's the limit."
Victoria wrote the song with Martin Johnson, who is best known as the frontman of the Pop-Rock band Boys Like Girls.
The song was released as the third single from the second soundtrack for the Nickelodeon TV series, Victorious 2.0.
