On January 16, 2011, four members of the Manheim high school football team in Pennsylvania were killed in a car accident. Manheim is August Burns Red's hometown; they wrote both this track and the preceding instrumental, "1/16/2011," as a tribute to the fallen youngsters.
Manheim is a small town, and the tragedy tore the place to pieces. During the song August Burns Red recount when the locals gathered together, they realized they were all experiencing hurt and found strength from each other and God.
