This was the second single released from Canadian rock band Billy Talent's fourth studio album, Billy Talent III.

Vocalist Ben Kowalewicz told Kerrang! May 30, 2009: "Nowadays, I'm seeing a lot of people who got married young are now getting divorced. It seems to be a new fad. Divorce is the new black. People get their life together. They've got their house, the car, the dog, the nice TV and all these things. They've made you feel good and confident and happy. Now, all of a sudden, everything is destroyed and you're fighting over the couches and who gets the TV. Everything you have ends up in a scrap yard is broken and tarnished. Eventually, if you spend enough time in that mindset, you become the mother of your environment."
