Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Captive Honour - Remastered/2012. By Songfacts®.

This is one of the most interesting songs Dave Mustaine has ever written, mainly due to it's deceptive and disturbing prologue which muses, "When you kill a man, you're a murderer. Kill many, and you're a conqueror. Kill them all... And you're a god!" However, the main portion of the song simply describes and detests the horrible conditions in modern prisons.

A band composition, Dave Mustaine drew lyrical inspiration from a counselor he had who told him stories about his time in prison.

The various spoken parts in this song were done by friends of the band.
