Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Fine Again. By Songfacts®.

This is about how you can be fine again after a breakup. Lead singer Shaun Morgan wrote it when his parents got divorced to reflect how he was feeling at the time. He was in the middle of the divorce and going through a lot of pain.

This was the first single released by the South African trio Seether, who at the time were drawing comparisons to Nirvana. They got a big break when they were invited on the 2002 Ozzfest tour, and scored their biggest hit in 2004 with a reworked version of their 2002 song "Broken" featuring Amy Lee, who was dating Shaun Morgan of Seether at the time.

Seether was signed to the same label as Drowning Pool, whose lead singer, Dave Williams, died in 2002 while they were touring with Ozzfest. At their concerts, Seether would dedicate this song to Williams.
