This song about backbreaking labor was a unusual mix of funk and Eastern European folk and is still considered the Spandau Ballet's most idiosyncratic single. The video was also one of the most memorable ones of the early 1980s. Saxophonist/guitarist Steve Norman recalled to The Mail on Sunday March 13, 2011: "We filmed it over four days in the Lake District. It was supposed to take just a day but we got snowed in... in a pub!"
