Clockworks

This song uses a clock as a metaphor for the inner workings of your mind, and how you can make positive personal change. The lyrics were written by Meshuggah's drummer, Tomas Haake, who said in his Songfacts interview, "You take out all the gears, the pins and little springs and everything, and try to put it back in a different fashion to make it function differently."
