The third single from Atlanta MC Jeezy's fourth album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition finds him expounding on the pressures of being in the limelight. "The song to me meant a lot, because I don't normally talk about how I feel and what's going on in my world," the rapper told MTV News. The single was released on September 29, 2011.
The release of Thug Motivation was first announced in 2009 but was delayed for nearly two years, missing several purported release dates. In his first verse, Jeezy addresses the constant delays of the album when he spits, "I bet you feel like the whole world hatin' on you/ Well what's the hold up? The whole world waitin' on you."
The song features T.I. and was the rapper's first official release after his second spell in prison. He closes the song with a promise to not step foot in jail again. "Another year in prison, promise this is it for me/ Trying to make it through the storm should be making history," he spits. "It's an honest interpretation of where I am mentally and how I feel about others volunteering their opinion on my circumstances without having full knowledge," T.I. told MTV News of his verse. "I felt that it was appropriate when I listened to it. It musically said everything that I wanted to say verbally."
