Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Wild Horses - Attom Remix. By Songfacts®.

"Wild Horses" was released as Bishop Briggs' debut single. "That was written during a time where I didn't know if I could be in a relationship and happy. I didn't know what that meant," she explained to Pop Crush. "I think sometimes there's a perception that you leave relationships because it's bad and you're fighting, but sometimes you just need to find out who you are on your own, or perhaps you've lost yourself within that relationship. It's not always about anger. Sometimes it's despair."

Bishop Briggs included this break-up song on her debut album, Church of Scars, three years later. She explained why to Consequence of Sound: "This was written during a really dark time in my life and it was the first song I ever released. It felt important to have this on the album to show 'Baby Me' how much I've grown."
