Sia penned this upbeat and inspirational track with Jesse Shatkin, who also worked with the Australian on her "Chandelier" hit single. Sia writes at a fast pace while Shatkin is more painstaking. She told The Guardian that he sends her his bits of songs after he's finished with them, "because I cannot sit in a room while someone's fannying about. It makes me crazy - I literally don't want to spend more than four hours in the studio."

Sia told Rolling Stone that this torch song is one of her favorite tunes off This is Acting, but that she thought that it "might only be a bonus track."
