This is the title track of Tove Lo's second album. The song and album is a slang term for female arousal, but represents a call to arms. "It's about being brave and doing the things that terrify you," the Swede told the BBC. "It's my way of saying there are a lot of chicks with balls out there."
The title is typical of Tove Lo's frank attitude toward sexuality and feminism. "You know how when you're talking about someone's strength you might say, 'She's a chick with balls?'" she explained to Billboard magazine. "Or if someone's a coward, you might call them a pussy? That never sat right with me. Lady Wood is just a better word than 'balls.'"
