The first single from In This Moment's Black Widow album, the track premiered on Sirius Octane on September 8, 2014 and was released digitally following day.
Singer Maria Brink explained the song's meaning to The Pulse of Radio: "That's kind of about embracing more of these things in me that I used to kind of keep 'em inside and they're a little bit twisted and they're a little bit wrong, I guess," she said. "And also, when you find another person who really, I guess, knows who you are and they find all of these things that maybe I would consider flaws in myself - they find that beautiful and like, I guess, things that make me who I am."
