"Cobra" contains raw, real talk, as Megan Thee Stallion spits about her struggles with emotional pain, depression, and anxiety. She lays out losing both her parents and breaking up with her rapper boyfriend Pardison Fontaine. Megan was also shot in the foot by fellow rapper Tory Lanez and endured a years-long legal battle with her former label, 1501 Certified Entertainment. Worn down by all that life has thrown at her, the Texan rapper admits to drinking excessively and thinking dark thoughts about suicide. Despite all her traumas, Megan refuses to stay down. In the outro, she decides to keep moving forward and ignore her ex's calls.
