Andy Warhol was a fan of the band. He not only directed the video but also made a cameo appearance where he poked fun at Bob Dylan's famous "Subterranean Homesick Blues" promotional film by dropping pieces of white card in time to the music.
Curiosity Killed The Cat were a 4 piece group from London formed by Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot. Originally called The Twilight Children, they changed their name to Curiosity Killed The Cat, later shortening it to Curiosity. "Misfit" was originally released in 1986 peaking at #76 in the UK. After they achieved a couple of Top 20 singles it was re-released with success in both the UK and US. In total they had 5 Top 20 British singles, but "Misfit" was to be their only Top 50 American single. Frontman Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot's trademark was wearing a beret.
