However in interviews Harris has expressed his displeasure with his previous release, his more hardcore dance record I Created Disco, claiming he didn't work hard on it and cut too many corners. He said in publicity materials of Ready For The Weekend: "I wanted to make something I would be proud of: 'This is as good as I can do'. So I don't just have that one album to my name that I'm not particularly pleased with."
