This song is from the soundtrack to the romantic drama film W.E.. It finds Madonna singing about the pain of being in love with someone whom she compares to a great work of art such as Mona Lisa. The track plays over the end credits of the movie.
The song was composed by Madonna herself with American songwriters Julie Frost (Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough," Beyoncé's "Countdown"), and Jimmy Harry (Pink' "Sober," Lisa Loeb's "Single Me Out"). It was produced by British musician William Orbit, whose previous collaborations with Madonna include her Ray Of Light album.
The moody ballad won Best Original Song at the 2012 Golden Globes.
