Cody penned this song with the American R&B duo Planet VI (formerly known as Rock City), whose other credits include Sean Kingston's "Take You There," The Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up" and Iyaz's "Replay."
Cody's lyrics were written about a girl with brown eyes whom he was attracted to. "It's one of the most poppy and fun records, with a little reggae and some cool, groovy stuff," he told Artist Direct. "I am trying to be more mature, and discovered who I wanted to be artistically."
