C.O.D. stands for "Care Of The Devil," which in this case is a play on the acronym for "Cash On Delivery." This song poked fun at AC/DC's image that they were dangerous Satanists corrupting the youth - an image they played up for publicity but is not based in truth. Rumors were that the band's name stands for "Anti-Christ Devil's Children," and that the lightning bolt in their logo is an "S" for "Satan."
