Twista's real name is Carl Mitchell. He is a tongue-twisting rapper from the West Side of Chicago who released his debut album in 1991, Runnin' Off At Da Mouth. The Guinness Book of World Records credited him the fastest rapper in the world in 1992 (the record has since been broken). The fast-rapping style has been used to great success by rappers like Ludacris and Jay-Z.
Actor Jamie Foxx sang the hook. Foxx got his start on the comedy show In Living Color, and has been in the movies Ali, Any Given Sunday and Ray. He is also a talented singer and comedian.
