Madonna wrote this with Swedish producing/songwriting partners Anders Bagge and Peer Astrom, along with British electronic musician Stuart Price. It was inspired by the 1998 dance hit "Music Sounds Better With You" by Stardust. Both songs sample Chaka Khan's "Fate."
The lyrics "Baby we can do it, we can do it all right," are taken from The S.O.S. Band's debut 1980 single "Take Your Time (Do It Right)."
