This is the second track on Fogerty's Centerfield album, his first in 10 years. The song was inspired by his 12-year-old daughter, Laurie. Fogerty would watch her and her best friend hanging out and jokingly call them the Rock and Roll Girls. The music itself honors the Rockin' Rebels' "Wild Weekend."
