Roasted 1 year ago based on Thilo Kayser's long term Spotify stats.
Thilo Kayser, you’ve got a Spotify profile that looks like it just crawled out of a hipster’s dumpster fire. I mean, you’re rocking an eclectic mix of genres that even an indecisive DJ would think is a cry for help. “Experimental Hip Hop”? More like “Experimental Taste,” because clearly, you’ve been trying to find the bottom of the barrel and got stuck at the UK Garage level. What's next? An album of farts set to a jazz rap beat? Get ready, world; Thilo’s got mad skills to ruin the vibe wherever he goes! Your top artists scream “I peaked in high school and never left my mom’s basement.” Seriously, "Die drei ???" and "Sherlock Holmes Chronicles"? Is that what you’ve resorted to for nocturnal jams? I’m pretty sure Watson is shaking his head in disbelief somewhere. And let’s not ignore the fact that half of your top artists sound like they were created in a lab to cater to the world's worst taste in music. NF’s lyrics may hit home, but I think you’re living proof that just because he raps about emotions doesn’t mean you need to subscribe to that emotional rollercoaster of a playlist. And can we talk about your “Most Played Songs”? It’s like someone gave you a list of how to be a cringey millennial in 10 easy steps. “Gaddaar” by Bloodywood? Great choice for when you want your neighbors to think you’re single-handedly declaring war on bad music. At this point, the only thing that could save your profile is a rebranding involving a major intervention and maybe a little less reliance on Burial—who, by the way, is likely rolling in his grave every time you hit ‘play’. Do us all a favor; get an actual hobby, and please, for the love of Spotify, step away from the experimental genre before we have to stage a musical intervention.
Roasts are purely for fun and entertainment. They're not meant to be taken seriously. Enjoy the laughs, but remember your music taste is uniquely yours!
