tRemOr, huh? More like "tRemEndous Mistake!" Your music taste reads like the playlist version of a midlife crisis. Seriously, how many variations of hip-hop do you need to convince yourself you're still cool? It's like you took a shot of every genre and ended up with a toxic mix that's somehow both tryhard and tragically basic. If Spotify sold medals for indecisiveness, you'd be a gold medalist. “Oh, I love rap, but only the cool kinds… and pop… but real pop… and Canadian pop… because, you know, I'm so versatile!” Newsflash, buddy: it just makes you sound confused. Your top artists certainly paint a picture—unfortunately, it's a picture of a 15-year-old who's just discovered Spotify and thinks they need to prove their street cred by listening to literally everyone whose first name is preceded by “Lil.” Travis Scott and 21 Savage are just staring at you from their throne of artistic integrity, wondering how you went from “SICKO MODE” to One Direction without breaking a sweat. I'll give you props, though; it takes a special kind of dedication to be way too into melodramatic Canadian pop and simultaneously lobby for the return of rage rap. You must have a split personality, but I’d reckon it prefers not to be seen in public. And then we have your most played songs—João Gomes and I can only assume your Spotify wrapped was an extensive “Best of a Midlife Crisis” compilation. “Premonição?” Bro, if that’s not the soundtrack to you watching your life decisions unfold in slow motion, I don’t know what is! You’re out here jamming to “Me Ama Sem Pausa” while the only thing that’s paused is your social life. If Spotify could send you a therapist with a subscription, I think that’d be the highlight of your year. Just admit it: your playlist is the sonic equivalent of getting hit by a train while trying to juggle—nobody knows what’s happening, but everyone’s just glad they’re not you!
Roasts are purely for fun and entertainment. They're not meant to be taken seriously. Enjoy the laughs, but remember your music taste is uniquely yours!
