Jagger wrote an autobiography in the '80s, but it was canceled, with the publisher complaining, "No sex. No rock 'n' roll. It's just boring stuff about his ordinary parents, and his ordinary upbringing."
His stage moves are so famous, Maroon five wrote a song about them. Jagger's signature strut and preening got a lot more pronounced after The Rolling Stones shared a bill with James Brown in 1964 on the T.A.M.I. Show.
His first solo gig was at Live Aid, where he played the Philadelphia stage in 1985. He got some high-profile help, bringing out Tina Turner as a guest.
