This song features a guest appearance from rapper Lil Wayne whilst Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko joins Sean on the hook. Aiko previously collaborated with Big Sean when she provided vocals for "I'm Gonna Be" (a track from his mixtape Detroit) and she also hooked up with J. Cole on his Born Sinner track, "Sparks Will Fly."
The song was produced by frequent collaborator Key Wane and finds Sean giving insight into a former relationship on this cautionary love tale: When you said it was over, you shot right through my heart Why you let these hoes tear what we had right apart Ooh, I was so mad, I should've seen this coming right from the start You should beware, beware, beware of a woman with a broken heart Big Sean's lover couldn't deal with all the jealous girls who were after the rapper and ended the relationship,. Now he has to face the consequences of his brokenhearted ex.
The song contains an interpolation of The Four Tops' 1973 hit single, "Ain't No Woman (Like The One I've Got)," which was originally recorded by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds the previous year.
