This is the first official single from American rapper Ludacris' seventh studio album, Battles of the Sexes. The long player was originally a collaboration with Disturbin Tha Peace member Shawnna but was reformatted upon her signing with Nappy Boy.
The song was debuted at the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta on October 27th, 2009, when Ludacris performed it as the second half of a medley that began with Lil Scrappy's "Addicted to Money", a song on which he is featured.
"How Low" entered at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Ludacris' highest debut on the chart, and his first Top Twenty hit since "Runaway Love" in 2007.
