This song is the title track from American rapper T.I.'s seventh studio album. The record was the Atlanta MC's first release since being freed from prison where he served a sentence on weapons charges. Two days before No Mercy came out, he begun another stint in jail after being picked up in a drug arrest in L.A.
This song features The Dream, who also co-produced the track with his partner Tricky Stewart.
Tip wrote on his website regarding the longplayer: "This album represents some of my best work inspired by my most recent best and worst life experiences. They say adversity brings forth inspiration so y'all can imagine how inspired I've been during the recording process for this album.
