Cut It (feat. Young Dolph)

The second single from O.T. Genasis' Rhythm & Bricks mixtape finds him rapping about pushing drugs. The song was released on September 25, 2015 by Conglomerate and Atlantic Records.

The song title refers both to the cutting of cocaine bricks and a demand that the dealer cuts his prices as the brick is too hot (potent).

This was O.T. Genasis' second hit single, both of which find him professing about his love for cocaine. Speaking to Blkdmnds, he spoke about his fear of being unable to follow-up the hugely successful "Coco." "I was actually scared to lose," Genasis admitted. "The record was so big that everybody was like 'Yo you know the next one gotta be bigger than Coco.' It was so much pressure, but I forgot everything. What I mean by that is in the beginning it was just me, I forgot to just keep it original and be yourself…" "With 'Cut It', I just went back to the streets man and went back to everything I know," he added. "It was so easy, it wasn't hard. It's time to go."
