Gates' Islah album is named after his eldest daughter. He told HotNewHipHop the record represents the lessons he has learned from being a father. "To inform, to improve, to make better, and I believe that's what my first daughter did to me. So I named my first album after my first daughter."
The song's music video finds Gates in prison remembering past romantic episodes with his bae. The clip features Dreka Gates and daughter Islah as his two leading ladies.
