In 2011 frontman Anthony Gonzalez organised a crowd-sourced audition for a multi-instrumentalist to join the M83 tour. Nineteen-year-old Jordan Lawlor, also known by his stage name J. Laser, was chosen and this song marks his debut songwriting and lead vocal contribution.
