This song is about Andrea Yates, a Texas housewife who went insane and killed her five children in her own home by drowning them one by one in her bathroom. The lyrics, "Robbed by the seventh deadly sin" refer to what Yates told her psychiatrist in jail: "It was the seventh deadly sin. My children weren't righteous. They stumbled because I was evil. The way I was raising them they could never be saved. They were doomed to perish in the fires of hell."
